Erin Heatherton Biography:
Erin Heatherton (born Erin Heather Bubley on March 4, 1989) is an American fashion model from Skokie, Illinois.
Unlike 99.9% of new models, the beautiful Erin Heatherton (nee Erin Heather Bubley) wasn't discovered at the mall. Having escaped from suburban Chicago for a vacation, she was first approached by model scouts on South Beach and, at 17, Erin was the proud owner of her first modeling contract with the Marilyn Agency. Now in New York and threatening to become one of modeling's many centers of attention, Erin Heatherton found it challenging to relate to the much older people who surrounded her. That said, she overcame this challenge by enjoying the perks of the industry that she wouldn't otherwise have at a young age -- you know, like staying in first-class hotels, eating first-class meals and seeing exotic places.
In her first two years of modeling, Erin Heatherton gained some key allies, starting with Diane von Furstenberg, who hired her for her first runway show in the fall of 2006. Within a year, she also caught the eye of Michael Kors, who featured her in sunglasses and luggage for his travel-themed Michael ad campaign. Erin also gained prominent magazine exposure with editorials in Interview, the British version of Elle, and a cover shot for Italy's D. By the end of 2007, Erin Heatherton had been recognized by WWD and Elle.com as a model to watch and she was only just getting started.
One of the key business relationships that Erin Heatherton developed in 2008 was with the legendary Italian fashion house, Dolce & Gabbana. Originally wearing their designs on the runway, she caught a big break when she appeared with fellow model Abigail Gotts for a Dazed and Confused editorial to promote the Autumn and Winter collection. The shoot, which emphasized suits, scarves and caps, featured the two models in picturesque poses with horses, guns and just each other. For Erin, the high point of the shoot was its photographer, the renowned Ellen Von Unwerth, whose sky-high industry credibility no doubt elevated Erin Heatherton's status in the process.
In 2009, Erin Heatherton went to Paris to participate in Christian Lacroix's runway extravaganza and signed a deal with Vogue to spice up its French calendar with a series of sexy shots. Not to be outdone, she earned an advertising contract with Valentino to appear with Marloes Horst and Siri Tollerod in print ads for the Rock 'n Dreams fragrance line -- just to remind us that supermodels look great and smell better. Erin Heatherton works with karl lagerfeld and ellen von unwerth
In 2008, Erin Heatherton made new runway connections while upping her pedigree in the land of print ads. The prestigious designers Marc Jacobs and Louis Vuitton hired her to wear their designs, while fashion's favorite eccentric Karl Lagerfeld chose her to headline his sunglasses campaign for a series of print ads. She also got a taste of fashion nostalgia by working with famed model and actress Lauren Hutton on a special shoot for Lord and Taylor. Erin Heatherton models for victoria's secret and poses in muse
Erin Heatherton finished 2008 on a strong note that included two high-profile magazine editorials -- one for the Italian version of Marie Claire and another for the British edition of Harper's Bazaar. She would also dress up by dressing down for a series of Victoria's Secret runway shows that would accompany additional runway work for Moschino, Oscar de la Renta and Tommy Hilfiger. She would also enter the pages of Muse for a unique body painting editorial. It went against the traditional grain by allowing her to stay clothed in fabric from Gucci, Diesel and Miu Miu while she dispensed paint all over an increasingly naked unlucky chap.In 2009, Erin Heatherton went to Paris to participate in Christian Lacroix's runway extravaganza and signed a deal with Vogue to spice up its French calendar with a series of sexy shots. Not to be outdone, she earned an advertising contract with Valentino to appear with Marloes Horst and Siri Tollerod in print ads for the Rock 'n Dreams fragrance line -- just to remind us that supermodels look great and smell better.
